    Forty places in our Tier 1 training weekend on October 10 and 11. Dispersal season is our busiest stretch for road rescues, and we especially need drivers and evening dispatchers.

    Fourth-quarter 2025 dispatch data shows a median of 16 hours from call to pickup, down from 24 hours in 2024. Separately, the Cascadia Wildlife Care Alliance completed its review of our 2025 case log and confirmed a 94% rehabilitation and release rate across 149 resolved cases. Both figures appear in the 2025 annual report.

  • Year-end appeal passes $61,000; Den Keepers reach 143 members

    Thank you. The 2025 year-end appeal raised $61,300 from 588 gifts, including the $10,000 Giving Tuesday match from Mossy Creek Hardware. Our monthly giving program, launched in February, ended the year with 143 members giving a combined $2,100 a month.

  • Ten years of Foggy Valley

    About 300 neighbors, volunteers, and partners came to the campus for the Den Party marking ten years since our first admission. Founder Mara Chen thanked the 2015 volunteers who bottle-fed kits in a barn with no running water, and announced that the Clinic and Learning Lab campaign had passed its $120,000 goal.
