The 2025 annual report is now online. It is the first one built from the unified case log we adopted in March 2025, which means every figure in it can be traced to a case number, and the first with outcomes checked by an outside reviewer.
Five things from the report
- Admissions rose 25% to 158, driven by a large baby season and more people knowing the hotline number.
- The release rate rose to 94% from 92%, confirmed by the Cascadia Wildlife Care Alliance's review of 149 resolved cases.
- Median response time fell to 17 hours from 24, beating the 18-hour target, after part-time dispatch coverage started in April.
- Operating revenue grew to $236,400 and 75% of spending went to programs. Harper & Lowe CPAs completed an independent financial review with no findings.
- Of six 2025 priorities, five were met. Volunteer numbers hit 362 against a target of 350, but tiered training only fully launched in September, so we count it as partly met.
The report also carries the 2026 priorities: opening the clinic wing, reaching a five-month operating reserve, publishing the reunion protocol for other centers, and holding the line at 15 hours during dispersal season.
Read it. The 2025 annual report takes about fifteen minutes. The reports page has the 2024 report and our financial documents alongside it.
